A guide to setting up sending an automated report of targeted impression usage to be sent to Permutive on the 1st of every month.
The report should include the following data points:
- key-values (Permutive cohort IDs)
- targeted Impression count
Please use the following steps to set this report up. Once you have set it up, please send a confirmation email to xxxx

Log in to Google Ad Manager

Head to the 'Reporting' --> 'Reports' tab

Select 'New report'

In the 'General Settings' section, add in a name (eg. [Publisher name] - Permutive - Monthly third-party billing report)

Edit the 'Date range' to show 'Dynamic' -- 'Last month'

In the Filters section select 'Key-values' and contains 'permutive'
- In the 'Dimensions' section, select Key-values only
- In the 'Metrics' section, select 'Total targeted impressions' only

In the 'Editors and scheduling' section set the Schedule to Monthly

Set the Date range starting on the first of the month. This will ensure the next report Permutive receives will be on the first of the month from the previous month's usage) and ending on the last date the filter allows (this should be one year from the date you create the scheduled report)

Leave the 'File format' as CSV and leave all following options ticked: Include header, Include IDs, Notify creatorIn the 'Add recipients' section, add the relevant email addresses and anybody else you’d like to receive this report on a monthly basis.

Hit Save, and head back to the 'Reporting' --> 'Reports' tab to ensure you see the report scheduled.
