Access Controls

Permutive user permissions follow a Roles Based Access Control model.

Name	Description	Example
User	An identity within Permutive	Authenticated end user
Group	A collection of users and groups. They are used to quickly provide consistent access to the platform when there is a large number of users.	European Marketing Sales Team Publisher Admin
Role	A collection of permissions designed to work together to authorize a particular use case within the platform.	Editor Member Administrator (Admin)

There are four types of roles within Permutive.

Organization Admin	Edit settings for all workspaces Manage user groups and users Create/edit cohorts and activations View and initiate exports
Workspace Admin	Edit settings for the workspace Create/edit cohorts and activations View and initiate exports
Editor	Create cohorts and activations View and initiate exports
Member	View cohorts and activations
