A guide to navigating your Engagement insights for campaigns you have run in Google Ad Manager
Overview
Engagement insights provide data about the level of onsite activity with regards to a users who viewed or clicked a specific campaign or group of campaigns that have run through Google Ad Manager.
Note: Campaign insights are only available for PG deals that do not contain any video creative or third-party hosted creative.
This data can be useful in post-campaign analysis once a campaign has wrapped up, or mid-campaign for campaign optimization.
Warning: Some edge platforms apply limitations to how the SDK operates and this can result in data not being included in the Engagement Insights charts. This table provides a breakdown of which charts include data from each platform:

Filters
At the top of the Engagement insights dashboard, you will see Campaign and Filter. If you click 'Edit' next to Campaign you can choose which Ad Manager campaign or campaigns for which you want to see engagement data.
Note: the campaign ID is the order ID of a specific campaign in Google Ad Manager
If you click 'Edit' next to Filter, you will see the filters available when analyzing specific campaigns.
You can choose the date range, line item, domain, device, geolocation, and platform as well as whether you are looking at users who clicked on the campaign or viewed the campaign.

Data Points
Uniques - The number of unique users that viewed or clicked on the specified campaign that you are filtering by in the selected timeframe
Sessions - The number of sessions completed by users that viewed or clicked on the campaign you are filtering by in the selected timeframe
Pageviews - The number of pageview events fired by users that viewed or clicked on the campaign you are filtering by in the selected timeframe
Average Time Spent (Mins) - The average time that the users who have viewed or clicked on the campaign that are filtering by have spent (in minutes) browsing on your site, over the date range selected
Average Session Length - The average amount of time spent on your site by users who viewed or clicked on the campaign you are filtering by in the selected timeframe
Articles Viewed Per Session - The average number of pageview events fired on your site during a single session by users who viewed or clicked on the campaign you are filtering by in the selected timeframe.
Downloading Data
The data in these individual charts can be downloaded as a CSV file by clicking the download icon in the upper righthand corner and selecting Download Chart Data. Pie charts can be downloaded as CSV or PNG files.
