How to Process

To process access or erasure requests please email datarequest@permutive.com with the users' permutive ID or any alias you have available and sending to us.  Please specify what type of user ID you are sending in your request.

Please batch these requests and send them on a weekly basis. 

Right of Access 

The right of access, commonly referred to as subject access, gives individuals the right to obtain a copy of their personal data as well as other supplementary information. It helps individuals to understand how and why you are using their data.

When requested from Permutive, you will receive a list of the cohorts the user is in (by the cohort code).  This process can take, at most, 14 days from receipt of the request. If you need this request actioned faster, please specify the ideal deadline in the request and we will do our best to prioritize.

Right to Erasure

Under Article 17 of the GDPR individuals have the right to have personal data erased. This is also known as the ‘right to be forgotten'.

When requested from Permutive, you will receive confirmation that the users' data has been deleted.  This process can take, at most, 14 days from receipt of the request. If you need this request actioned faster, please specify the ideal deadline in the request and we will do our best to prioritize.

Tip: Send these batches as soon as you are able to ensure they are processed within the GDPR specified 30-day time frame.
