Details about the FormSubmission event and the properties collected when this event fires.

Permutive collects default data and additional engagement data on every Form Submission event. 

The FormSubmission event is fired when a user submits a form on your site. It will not track any password fields. This event collects raw data.

 

On every Form Submission event Permutive collects the extra following properties:

 Name  ID  Type  Required  Description
Form Action form.action String  Optional

The action attribute of the form 

Form Method form.method String  Optional

The method attribute of the form eg. GET/POST

Form Properties Value form.properties.value String  Optional The value of a form property chosen by user
Form Properties Name form.properties.name String  Optional

The name of a form property assigned by publisher

Form ID form.id String  Optional The id attribute given to the form by publisher

 

Form Submission events can be disabled via the Web Integration.
