Create a segment of users who have triggered an event during a specified number of event triggers
Last 'N' Events Explained
This feature allows you to build a segment collecting users who have triggered an event during the last 'N' number of event triggers.
As you build a new segment, when choosing the recency, select 'last n'. You then have the option to choose how many events you want the trigger to be based upon.
Note: The look-back is limited to the last 10 events.
Examples
Example 1: You may want to create a segment of 'Sports Lovers' that collects ‘users who have had 3 sports related pageviews in the last 5 pageviews':

Example 2: Another example of where this feature will come in handy is, if you are targeting subscription users. If targeting users depending on user states, this feature will allow you to ensure that this targeting is based on current user states.
If you have an event related to subscription status and use that to segment users, basing the segment recency on 'last n 1 event', will ensure that the audience will be segmented on their most recent user state update.
If you wanted to target users who have cancelled their subscription you could set up a segment like this:

Using 'last n 1 event' ensures that, even if a user has historical data that would usually cause them to fall into this segment, it would only pool users whose most recent state update was set to cancelled.
