To connect to Google BigQuery, navigate to the Connectivity Catalog, search for Google BigQuery, and click “Connect” on its card.

The “Connect to Google BigQuery” page contains four required fields:

• Name: Provide a name for the connection. This name does not come from BigQuery, it is authored by you to be your reference for the connection within Permutive moving forward. 
• GCP Project ID: This ID value must match the Project ID value from within your GCP account. 
• GCP Data Set Name: This value must match the Data Set Name value from within your GCP account.
• Confirmation: You will be asked to confirm that you’ve configured permissions for connection@permutive.com within your GCP account. This email address must be granted the roles/bigquery.dataViewer role on the dataset you wish to connect to. To learn more about configuring this role, view Google’s documentation here.
