Google BigQuery runs on a slightly modified version of SQL. Here are some resources I've found useful in understanding SQL and BigQuery.

  • This book is amazing. Very clear and straightforward. If you read an hour a day you should be a SQL pro in a couple of weeks.
  • BigQuery have a reference here which explains everything you can do in BigQuery. I use it for looking up functions.

We're always on hand to help query the data, write queries and de-bug queries so please do let us know how we can help!
