Permutive Analytics

In the Permutive dashboard your Analytics reports give detailed insights on your segments, and custom data.

Get an Overview of Your Segments and Their Growth

Our Segment overview report let you instantly see the total size of your segment and the number of uniques entering the segment daily. Report on the uniques, pageviews, sessions and engaged time of all your segments - or just a few.

Compare Your Segments

Compare the engagement of your segments. Which have higher average session length? What proportion of users in these segments view 3+ pages in a session? Which segment had more uniques on a given day? Answer all these questions by comparing your segment with this report.

Understand How Your Segments Overlap

These powerful reports let you see how your segments overlap - what number/ proportion of uniques fall into both segments? We recommend setting up segments to answer the questions that matter to you with this report. For example, if you want to understand how users from different continents visit your site from different referrers, create 'referral' and 'location' segments then see how they overlap.

prebid.js Reporting

Understand your header bidding data with clear and detailed Analytics reporting on a segment level. What is median winning for this advertiser? What is the average time to respond? What's the average CPM of segment X compared to segment Y? Answer all these questions and more by delving into this report and using the filters to explore your data. This report isn't enabled by default - if you are using prebid.js let us know and we'll deploy data collection and reporting for you.

Custom Data

Within Permutive you can collect highly custom data from the page. We're happy to provide reporting for you on this data - get in touch if you'd like to know more!

Real-Time Data Warehouse

Permutive stores your data in a real-time warehouse. This means it's up-to-date to the nearest second. We never delete data so we keep your users' entire history, and we give you access to query this warehouse directly.

If you're an SQL whiz then use BigQuery Standard or Legacy SQL to query your data directly. You can write highly custom queries to answer your questions. If you don't know SQL then don't worry - we can provide Analytics insights for you.

BI Partners

Harness our real-time data warehouse for custom data reporting and analysis for your entire organisation. You can plug BigQuery into a number of partners but, in particular, we recommend Looker and Mode. We have partnered with both these BI solutions to offer 'switch-on' reporting you can start to use immediately.

Mode provides interactive reporting using SQL, JS and Python. Great for small teams up to about 50 Mode makes it quick and easy to offer company-wide reporting. Unlike many other tools Mode also lets you directly query the data - making it the perfect tool for data analysts. We can work with you to help you get started using Mode most effectively.

Looker provides highly interactive source-of-truth reporting for an entire organisation. Built using LookML (SQL related), Looker's infrastructure means you can build a full set of metrics and values for your organisation. From this you can create:

  • Company-wide dashboards
  • User-level dashboards
  • Data-dive insights
  • Insights, visualisations and reporting for non-technical users

So your entire organisation can ask their own queries, build visualisations, share dashboards and view the same dashboards - all aligned around these 'source of truth' metrics. We have a Permutive Looker block which makes it quick and easy to get started using Permutive with Looker.
