A common way to optimise a campaign in DFP is to negatively target bot traffic. To do this in DFP, follow the below instructions.
Navigate to Delivery → Orders → Check Inventory. Input the campaign details (eg. start/end date, quantity of impressions).
In the Ad targeting section of the report, select Key-values and input 'permutive' as the key. The next option that pops up will be 'is' or 'is not'. If you would like to negatively target a particular segment, select 'is not' and then choose the relevant value.
